Ladies’ (or girls’) night out is a tradition for many, especially women away from home. For some it means getting together to play bridge, Mexican Train or go out for pizza. For others it is a wild night at a club, bar, or live music venue. Recently a group of women in Los Cabos decided that they would do something completely different – charter the 80’ Ferretti yacht, Patron for a pajama party on the Sea of Cortez.
The women arrived at Cabo San Lucas marina and boarded Patron on the dock in front of Solomon’s Landing. After being greeted by Captain Sebastian, they were shown the cabins on the lower deck and given the opportunity to stow their gear and change into their pajamas. The Ladies’ Night had been planned so that the yacht could cruise out to Lands End and the arches to be able to watch the incredible sunset over the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean.
Gathering on the fly bridge of Patron, the group of 10 ladies and one dog, Cutie were served cocktails to enjoy as they made their way out of the harbor. Sonia, the mixologists created all their favorite drinks to enjoy. As the yacht approached Lands End several of the group took the opportunity to take pictures of the sights and each other. As with any girls’ night out, they chatted, sipped their cocktails, and caught up on what each of them had been doing. They watched the sunset set slowly in the west and then the party started (and the photos ended).
